Disclosure Scotland issues Standard and Enhanced disclosures for individuals who are applying for a relevant position in Scotland.
Basic disclosures are available to anyone, throughout the UK, for any purpose.
Organisations that are based in Scotland, who meet the relevant criteria can apply for disclosures in respect of employees who are based outside the UK.
PVG legislation will affect organisations in Scotland, including employers, charities, sporting and voluntary bodies with posts which involve "regulated work" with "children" and/or "protected adults" which used to access Enhanced Disclosures.
